Alex Pidhorodeckyj
Alex has been advising affluent individuals since 1983, bringing decades of expertise to his clients. He began his career at Dean Witter Reynolds, where he was selected as one of only five individuals for the firm’s prestigious Management Training Associate (MTA) program. In this role, Alex oversaw monthly classes to train new Financial Advisors (FAs) and played a key role in revitalizing underperforming branch offices across the country.
Following the program, Alex contributed to the creation of the firm's first Global Equity Marketing Department. During this time, he collaborated with S.G. Warburg, the firm's research partner in Europe, to develop pioneering international research on foreign stocks traded on U.S. exchanges as American Depositary Receipts (ADRs).
Since 1998, Alex has served as a First Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where he specializes in helping individuals and business owners with cash management, portfolio construction, and comprehensive financial and retirement planning. He has cultivated extensive expertise in foreign securities and the strategic use of options to enhance returns and minimize investment costs.
On the Personal Side...
Outside of his professional life, Alex is passionate about traveling, swimming, fishing, and collecting fine wine. He resides in Peekskill, New York, with his wife, Clare.
